Mary F. Doane - Booster Inducted in 1994 Mary Frances Doane (Booster) - She dedicated herself to the Oakville Eagles as much as the baseball players on the team. Over 40 years Mary travelled with the team where ever the Eagles played. Home games or away games, she made the team feel like a family. She prepared food and drinks for the team always with a smile. When travelling to their destination she made jokes to keep the team spirit alive. Mary also made sure the baseball players played the game to their full potential with the comment "We're going to win this one boys!" Mary loved the Oakville Eagles and the game of baseball. |
