Royce Dize (Player) - He had a very successful baseball career in High School. In 1946, Royce was a smooth fielding second baseman for the Crisfield Vets of the Central Shore League.
Royce was a consistent .300 hitter for seven years, spraying line drive singles and doubles through the infield. He had the ability to be ever tough with men on base and walked many times because of the threat of line drives. Royce was always level headed, dependable, and set a good example for the rest of his teammates. His career is one of the best in the Central Shore League.
