Maurice Fields - Player

Maurice "Maurie" Littleton Fields Sr. (Player) - He had a 12 year career playing baseball on the Eastern Shore. Maurie played baseball for Salisbury "AA" baseball team and the Willards baseball team. He also managed the Willards baseball team for one year. Maurie's very first year in the baseball league, he won 13 games and lost only 2 games.His pitching record while playing baseball was 64 wins, 34 losses, and 695 strikeouts.
Maurie also coached Little League and Minor League for 10 years. He officiated basketball games for 10 years. Maurie was also one of the original nine members of the Board of Directors of the Eastern Shore Baseball Hall of Fame, serving as it's Treasurer.
