 O.J. Brittingham - Umpire Inducted in 1984 Orren "O.J." Brittingham (Umpire) - Even though he played very little baseball, "O.J." was very busy umpiring around the Eastern Shore for many years. He umpired both baseball and softball for High Schools, College, and local area leagues. "O.J." also managed baseball and softball teams for 40 years. He was a major factor in helping the sport of baseball on the Eastern Shore in the early days. "O.J." had another special talent. He was one of the best Auctioneers around the Eastern Shore. This was his life's work. |
