 John Roy Alder - Booster Inducted in 2008 John was an active baseball player from 1954-1961 playing for Washington High for three years, Severna School his senior year, and playing the American Legion team during those same years. He also play baseball for Wesley College 1958-59 and West Virginia Wesleyan Buckhannon 1960-61 before retiring as a player. Then John started his coaching career in 1982 with the Peaky's team in the Eastern Shore Baseball League. After coaching in the league for five years, he continued coaching in youth league in the Delmar School District as well as Fruitland Elementary. John is an active member on the Board of Directors for the Eastern Shore Hall of Fame. |
