Jimmie Daniels (Player) - He was a good hitter, speedy runner, dependable, a team player and a credit to the game!
Jimmie played four years as a centerfielder and pitcher in the Marva League for Wenona.
He also played outfield for the Princess Anne Legionnaires in 1947-1948. Joe Long said he was a quiet man and a good team player. Eastern Shore Hall of Famer Ted Evans says "He had great foot speed and made centerfield look small!" Eastern Shore Hall of Famer John Alder says "Jimmie was very dependable and a credit to the game!"
Jimmie also helped with the Deal Island baseball league when he was a young man.
