James Arthur Stevens - Player Inducted in 2019 James Arthur Stevens (August 25, 1889 - September 25, 1966), nicknamed "Steve", was a relief pitcher who played in two games for the Washington Senators during the 1914 season. After the 1914 season, he played for the Frederick Hustlers of the Blue Ridge League in 1915. Jim went to college at St. John's College in Annapolis, where Dick Porter (another Eastern Shore Baseball hall of famer) would later play. He was born in Williamsburg, Maryland and died in Baltimore, Maryland at the age of 77. |
