Kevin S. Lindsay - Player

Inducted in 2022

One of the most dominating players in the Eastern Shore Baseball League throughout his 13 year career, Kevin was the center fielder and lead-off hitter for the Perdue Chicks until his retirement following the 2015 season, despite leading the league that season in batting average, runs, walks, on-base percentage, on-base plus slugging percentage, and stolen bases. In 332 career ESBL games, he batted .348 with 385 hits, 380 runs, 162 rbi's, 52 doubles, 277 walks, and 208 stolen bases. A tremendous contact hitter, Kevin struck out only once every 18.9 plates appearances. Kevin helped lead Perdue to 3 NABF World Series appearances, 1 Maryland Semi-Pro State Championship, 7 Jimmy Carter Memorial tournament championships, and 11 regular season ESBL championships.
During his adult baseball career, Kevin played and excelled in various leagues. He played in the Union Printers Baseball League from 1996 to 2008 and was inducted into their hall of fame in 2006. He also played in the Chesapeake Independent Baseball League 1996 - 2002 and the Charles-St. Mary's Baseball League 2001 - 2015. Kevin was inducted into the National Semi-Pro Baseball Hall of Fame in Evansville, IN as a player in 2016.
