Walter Darby - Umpire Inducted in 1986 William Walter "Lark" Darby (Umpire) - He attended school in Hebron Maryland area. Lark umpired in the baseball leagues on the Eastern Shore for many years including the Central Shore League. He was married to Alice Darby and had ten children. His one daughter, Anne Beach is the wife of Bob Beach who was inducted into the Eastern Shore Hall of Fame in 1998. |
