Hank Clayton - Player

Henry "Hank" Clayton (Player) - He was an outstanding basketball player in the 1930's and later played for the Crisfield town team in various organized basketball leagues on the Eastern Shore. He was recognized as one of the better basketball players.
Hank was also an outstanding baseball player for the Crisfield Vets baseball team from 1946 to 1950 in the Central Shore League. He was a slick fielding third baseman for the team compiling a five year batting average of .336 with 100 RBIs.
He was an avid golfer, a member of the Crisfield Elks Lodge, and a member of the American Legion.
