James McAllister - Booster

Inducted in 1982

Jim graduated from Delmar High School in 1933. After a three year hitch in the army he became Secretary/Treasurer of the Central Shore League. He served in this capacity for fourteen years. It was Jim who compiled and preserved the statistics of that circuit. Jim became Director of the Eastern Shore Baseball Hall of Fame in 1983. He chaired many committees of the organization during that time, providing valuable leadership.
Jim also served as president of many youth leagues on the Shore, including Little, Pony, Colt, and then helped organize the Eastern Shore Baseball League. Jim was inducted into the Eastern Shore Baseball Hall of Fame on the first induction ballot in 1982 as a life long booster and life long builder and organizer of the game on our Eastern Shore.
